God stuff, thanks for the link. What about expansion and contraction on the two bonded pieces? Will they move at the same rate and what is the expansion/contraction based on temperature changes above/below the temp the pieces were cut/formed, or bonded at? 
 
I've seen PVC split when mechanically mounted for sign faces with bolts to posts in a fixed position.
